After a recent re-brand, Laphroaig approached us looking for the next place to take their whisky. They wanted to move away from their divisive reputation and begin to establish themselves in the ‘finer-things’ category. Working alongside our Creative Strategist I developed several creative ideas that ranged from whisky adjacent crafts through to premium partnerships and ultimately we agreed that a high-end culinary program was the way to go.
I then went on to develop creative avenues that spanned web, physical, experiential, social, video content and out-of-home whilst also designing a visual identity that complimented the fresh re-brand. The result has been well received becoming the major global activation platform for Laphroaig and includes a 20min Documentary style film that I conceptualised, wrote, art-directed and co-directed launching mid-September 2022.
